Pros:

a) Fuel cons way better than all other mini cars. Went to nay pyi taw ( 4 gallons/3.5 hours drive ) and went to taunggyi ( 8.5 gallons/ 10 hours drive) with 4 persons and full cargoes at back and A/C on. Average cons is about 50 mph (1000 miles / 22 gallons). So it is more eco than toyota belta (1300CC), where we should not mention toyota vitz here since it has 1000CC.

b) max cargo space available than other mini cars (vitz, swift, mazda demio, nissan march, vw polo, etc..)

c) Starting from 2008 late, Fit comes with iVTEC engine which has better technology than toyota VVTi series.

d) Short bars, coils, suspension sytem available in eco prices at yangon.

Cons:

a) Honda fit is not comfy for back passengers comparing to it’s rival Toyota series though suspension is robust and good enough.

b) Engine room space is very limited for major repairs/maintenance.

Anything from you guys????

I recently purchase Honda Fit 2 Generation 2010 Grade 5 Km35,000 for 56,000 JPY. The total cost including custom duties and RTA registration will be around 150 Lakhs. So it is very low start up cost. Sine the fuel consumption is also quite efficient, it will save you in terms of cash in the long run. I am not sure about the spare parts, however since Honda Jazz (same as Fit) is widely used in Thailand, I wouldn’t worry that much!

I have imported FIT- GD1 and I have changed engine oil and transmission oil since it was landed a month ago. Should I replace engine coolant which I found it has blue color and feel oily when I touched it by hand. The mileage is 44xxx km and the engine is found to be working normal. Please advise. Thanks.

Agera

To Sirius, for Honda Fit GE6 2009 Grade L transmission oil is CVT.
I also have like that kind of car, it’s fuel consumption is about 53km/gallon in city drive. It’s interior design is the best of all kind of 1.3cc cars in ygn i think :) and the exterior looks so good and better than Toyata Vitz, IST, Oppa.
As for comfort, it’s a hatchback type car so it may not be so comfortable and not like that kind of saloon like Belta. The hatchback type is more cargo space than saloon but it’s shock absorber may not soft and the car length is a little bit short. That’s why it is not so comfortable on off-road but on the on-road, it can speed to 60mph so easily. I like the Honda Fit very much :)
